Nairobi’s Wildlife Finale: Home

Characters:

• Arya – is a young, curious and brave photographer who has been fascinated by the animals and their lives forever. She has recently got a budget to take some pictures for National Geographic and she is visiting the African jungles for the first time.

Storyline:

Arya, Tyler and Charlie have just read the note on the chest. The author of said note is none other than Arya’s long-lost brother Brandon.

TYLER BENSY

Arya…you have a brother?

ARYA

Yeah, but I haven’t seen him in years… how is my family connected to all of this?

TYLER BENSY

Hold on, let’s open the chest first and see what’s inside.

Arya and Tyler try to open the chest only to realize that it is locked.

TYLER BENSY

Why does everything HAVE to be locked?!

ARYA

Hold on Tyler, look at the shape of the lock.

Both Arya and Tyler examine the shape of the lock on the chest and quickly realize that it is the same shape as the key to the room.

TYLER BENSY

Well that’s a massive relief.

Arya then unlocks and opens the chest. The shining light emitting from the jewelry catches everyone off-guard. The jewelry, gold, and diamonds were some of the most beautiful they have ever seen.

TYLER BENSY

All this treasure…it’s enough to make a grown man cry.

ARYA

Hold on… is this what I think it is?

TYLER BENSY

What do you mean? Is this something that you know about?

ARYA

Tyler, this is the Nairobi’s Pendent! It is the rarest treasure in the entire world! It has been searched for many decades!

TYLER BENSY

WHAT?! WHY ON EARTH DID YOUR BROTHER HAVE IT?!

ARYA

I don’t know, I need to contact my boss immediately.

Arya calls National Geographic’s headquarters in order to connect with the CEO Henry Firth and let him know about the situation.

HENRY FIRTH

Arya! How are you doing? Did you get some eye-catching pictures for the magazine?

ARYA

Yes, but that’s not important. Why did I find a treasure chest filled with the Nairobi’s Pendant along with a note from my long-lost brother?

HENRY FIRTH

(Sighs) I knew you were going to find out soon enough…

ARYA

Huh? You knew about this?

HENRY FIRTH

Arya, when we sent you to the African jungles, it wasn’t only to get pictures for the National Geographic magazine…it was to complete the mission your brother started many years ago.

ARYA

Mission? What kind of mission is this?

HENRY FIRTH

Your brother was an explorer Arya, and he was sent to recover the Nairobi’s Pendant. He did have it in his position but unfortunately nature caught up to him before he could send it back home. I believe he left the treasure in a safe and secure location within the jungle for you to find.

Arya is shocked and stunned at the revelation. Brandon was an adventurer just like her, but his life was like a Hollywood movie compared to hers.

ARYA

But… why me?

HENRY FIRTH

Because your family are the greatest adventurers I have ever met, your curiosity and drive the explore the outside world motivates me every day. I am truly honoured to work alongside people like yourself and Brandon.

Arya almost begins to shed tears at Mr. Firths kind words before she is filled with determination.

ARYA

I will bring back the Nairobi’s Pendent to you sir.

Several weeks pass and news has been spread around the world that the Nairobi’s pendant has been located by two explorers’ named Arya and Tyler. National Geographic sent their strongest security team to escort the pair as well as Charlie safely on a private plan back home. As they are boarding the plane, Tyler and Arya begin to converse.

TYLER BENSY

Thanks again for convincing your boss to let me be your permanent travel partner on your adventures Arya, it is such a massive opportunity for me.

ARYA

No need to thank me Tyler, it’s the most I can do for all you’ve done.

TYLER BENSY

Well now that we finished our adventure in the African jungles, where do we go next?

ARYA

I’m not sure exactly what we’re going to do, but with all the opportunities coming our way, only one thing is certain. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
